Release of “Capacity Enhancement Planning of Renewable Energy in the State of Goa” by the CM of Goa

The Celestial Earth proudly announces the release of its milestone report, “Capacity Enhancement Planning of Renewable Energy in the State of Goa,” unveiled by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant; the Hon’ble Power Minister, Shri Sudin Dhavalikar; and other dignitaries from the Goa Electricity Department and Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA).

This pioneering report presents a techno-economic and geospatial framework to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy in Goa, laying the foundation for the Goa Renewable Energy Policy 2025 and the Goa Clean Energy Roadmap 2050.

TCE extends heartfelt thanks to the Goa Electricity Department for their partnership, guidance, and collaboration in developing this first-of-its-kind planning framework for the state.

This marks a new beginning—TCE remains committed to supporting Goa’s renewable energy goals and contributing to India’s vision of 500+ GW of clean energy.

The study also introduces an open-source Renewable Energy Capacity Planning Tool, integrating geospatial, land-use, and climatic factors to ensure sustainable and future-ready planning, while serving as a capacity-building platform for stakeholders across India.
