Dr. Tania Ray Bhattacharya Participates in the CDE–IEDS International Conference 2026

Dr. Tania Ray Bhattacharya, Founder & CEO of The Celestial Earth, participated in the CDE–IEDS International Conference 2026, hosted by the Delhi School of Economics. The conference brought together leading researchers, academicians, and policymakers to discuss contemporary issues in environmental and development economics.

A notable highlight of the event was Dr. Bhattacharya's opportunity to reconnect with Prof. Managi Shunsuke, her PhD advisor and a distinguished environmental economist, after several years. The occasion also reflected the longstanding academic association shared through the Managi Lab, where Dr. Bhattacharya pursued her doctoral research and where Prof. Surender Kumar previously conducted his postdoctoral research under the mentorship of Prof. Managi.
