Dr. Anindya Bhattacharya, Executive Director of The Celestial Earth, Participates as Distinguished Speaker at RESSUMMIT 2026

On 16 March 2026, Dr. Anindya Bhattacharya, Executive Director of The Celestial Earth, participated as a Distinguished Speaker at RESSUMMIT 2026, organised by the International Centre for Advanced Research in Sustainability (ICARS), IIT Roorkee – Greater Noida Campus (NCR).

Dr. Bhattacharya contributed to the session titled “Risk to Resilience: Strengthening State Capacities for Climate Modelling & Resource Identification towards Vision 2047.” During the session, he highlighted the importance of strengthening institutional capacities, improving climate modelling approaches, and promoting data-driven planning to support sustainable resource management and climate-resilient development.

RESSUMMIT 2026 brings together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and institutions to deliberate on key themes including climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, resource sustainability, public health resilience, and green development pathways aligned with India’s Viksit Bharat @2047 vision.
