TCE CONTRIBUTES TO ASEAN ENERGY TRANSITION AND INVESTMENT ROADMAP 2026

The ASEAN Energy Transition and Investment Roadmap was launched at the ASEAN Energy Business Forum 2026 (AEBF-26) in Manila on 6 October 2026, marking an important milestone in the region’s energy transition.

The Roadmap brings together innovation, investment, finance and enabling regulatory frameworks to support ASEAN’s transition towards a more sustainable, resilient and competitive energy future. It provides a foundation for connecting the region’s long-term energy-transition ambitions with practical pathways for investment and implementation.

Dr. Anindya Bhattacharya, Executive Director of The Celestial Earth, contributed to this flagship regional initiative and shared his perspectives during the launch discussions. Drawing on his work in energy transition, climate policy, energy systems optimisation and climate finance, his contribution highlighted the importance of mobilising investment and strengthening pathways for energy-sector transformation.

The launch brought together experts and institutions from across the ASEAN region, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration on the region’s evolving energy landscape, investment priorities and energy-transition needs.

The Roadmap represents an important step towards strengthening regional cooperation and supporting ASEAN’s next phase of energy transformation, with investment and finance playing a critical role in building a more resilient and sustainable energy future.
