Dr. Anindya Bhattacharya, Executive Director of The Celestial Earth, Contributes to Data Science for Sustainable Development Goals: Indian Case Studies

Gurgaon | 11 August 2026: Dr. Anindya Bhattacharya, Executive Director of The Celestial Earth, has contributed a chapter to the book "Data Science for Sustainable Development Goals: Indian Case Studies," which was launched during the “Data, Governance & the SDGs: A Sustainability Symposium," organised by the Center of Excellence for Sustainable Development, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon.

The symposium brought together researchers, academics, practitioners, and professionals working in the field of sustainability to discuss the role of data and effective governance in supporting progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The discussions highlighted the importance of reliable data, evidence-based decision-making, and collaborative approaches in addressing contemporary sustainable development challenges.

As a contributing author, Dr. Bhattacharya’s chapter forms part of the collective body of research and perspectives presented through the publication.
