Two-day stakeholders consultation and workshop in Kolkata on the Roadmap of the West Bengal Climate Finance Facility

The Celestial Earth successfully concluded a two-day Stakeholder Consultation and Workshop on 30–31 October 2025 at Taj Taal Kutir, Kolkata, focused on developing the Roadmap for the West Bengal Climate Finance Facility (WBCFF).

The workshop was organized under the guidance of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) and the Department of Finance, Government of West Bengal, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The consultation brought together key stakeholders from government, financial institutions, academia, and civil society to deliberate on the design, governance, and operational framework of the proposed facility. The Celestial Earth presented the preliminary structure and key analytical findings to ensure that the facility is effective, inclusive, and financially sustainable.

The insights and recommendations gathered during the workshop will play a vital role in shaping the final roadmap and operational blueprint of the WBCFF.
